Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, I am a proud graduate of the Philadelphia High School for Girls. I continued my education at Widener University, earning my B.S. in Accounting in 2015 and my M.S. in Forensic Accounting & Data Analytics in 2016. I went on to obtain my Certificate of Accounting (COA) in 2018 and became a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) in 2021.
My professional career began in public accounting, where I worked from 2016 to 2018 before transitioning into internal audit, where I continue to serve today. Over the years, I have gained extensive experience helping nonprofits, fraternal organizations, and small businesses establish chart of accounts structures, design business processes, and build efficient accounting workflows.
My passion for supporting individuals and small businesses started early through my family’s business — Tax Pickup & Delivery Services — where I assisted my mother in serving the tax needs of individuals and entrepreneurs across the community.
I am also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., where service remains at the heart of everything I do. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, growing my skillset, and taking various dance classes in my free time.
